We are all connected. We live in a holographic universe in which everything is contained in each part. A blessing to a single part is a blessing to the whole. Damage to a single part is damage to the whole. To believe that we are separate or that we can harm one another or our planet without harming ourselves is an illusion. Consider the following ....... There is a genetic connection between humans and other life forms on earth. Humans are chemically connected with other lifeforms in other star systems. Humans are connected atomically with all matter in the Universe. Imagine an entire planet whose inhabitants stress cooperation over competition, sharing instead of hoarding, unity rather than division, connection as opposed to separation. Now that’s something to think about as we begin a new year.
